Casserole was a type of food in the galaxy. Nerf casserole was made with nerf, and its flavor could be enhanced with dried vohis mold.[3] Mandalorians had a type of casserole called tiingilar.[4]
A casserole was made for the Wookiee male Chewbacca, his family, and his guests to consume at his two hundredth birthday on Kashyyyk.[1]
In 4 ABY,[5] a particularly successful casserole was made by Porcellus, the chef at the palace of Jabba Desilijic Tiure on Tatooine.[2]

Casserole first appeared in the 1979 children's book The Wookiee Storybook, which was written by Eleanor Ehrhardt and illustrated by Patricia Wynne.[1]
