Carbon-Freeze Exhaust units, also known as Carbon-Freeze Exhausts and CF Exhausts, were located throughout the Carbon-freezing chamber levels of Cloud City. An exhaust unit would spray out a quick blast of gas, temprorarily freezing anyone that would happen to be in the Carbon-Freeze Exhaust unit's way.[1]
