Canyon Oasis

Canyon Oasis was a location somewhere in the galaxy. It existed during the reign of the New Republic, during the year 5 ABY. The oasis, located in a canyon, contained large platforms, an expansive pool, a system of underground tunnels, and a ramp that could become electrified with the push of a button. The oasis was a battle arena, and was heavily stocked with weapons, ammunition, personal energy shields, and Bio-Bacta canisters. The various weapons stocked in the arena included rail detonators, Imperial Repeater Rifles, E-11 blaster rifles, a Stouker concussion rifle, and sequencer charges.

Behind the scenes

Canyon Oasis first appeared in the video game Star Wars: Jedi Knight: Dark Forces II as a multiplayer level for deathmatch, referred to in game as Jedi Training, a game mode where players fought against other players by themselves. Although the map's precise location is unclear, the textures used in the map are also used in singleplayer levels depicting the planet Ruusan. The multiplayer mode could allow up to eight players to compete.
