Candroidan hookworms were parasites that were capable of supporting viruses specific to Humans. The hookworm was responsible for the transmission of the Candorian plague on Dentaal when Wilek Nereus's team inoculated several thousand hookworms with the virus and salted a shipment of clothing to Calif City.
