Burt Jaxton was a retired Nova Scout during the early years of the New Republic. Jaxton loved the spaceways and space, and believed a scout needed a particular mindset in order to both succeed and love their job. Jaxton was fond of regaling tales to others, even if they did not want to hear his stories or advice.
