A bunk is a term that describes a sleeping place, or a bed, that is usually found on a starship. A crew member may sleep there or keep personal belongings nearby during a voyage across the galaxy. They were able to be customized to a specific shape, for say, a Wookiee. The Millennium Falcon had at least one on board, which Luke Skywalker used after his duel on Cloud City with Darth Vader.
