Bryx was a planet in the Bryx sector of the Mid Rim.

History

At some point, it was controlled by the Galactic Republic. The planet was conquered by the Galactic Empire prior to the formation of the Rebel Alliance, but only after numerous battles in which the planet was expertly defended by local Governor Carigan. Sheer advantage of numbers alone allowed Imperial victory.
