The SoroSuub Boav Ion Drive was a commercially-available economy ion engine. With a cost of 10,000 credits, and weighing only 10 metric tons, it was a simple engine solution. They were however difficult to install on non-SoroSuub ships since they were most compatible with other SoroSuub components.
