A blutfish was an aquatic creature native to Dac. It was known to be ravenous.

Behind the scenes

The blutfish was referenced in the profile for the Quarren Deep Hunter in Death in the Undercity. When the adventure was reprinted in Classic Adventures: Volume Three, the reference to the blutfish was removed.
