Blue Ten was the call sign of the tenth member of Blue Squadron. There were a number of starfighter squadrons with this name, and several pilots went by the call sign Blue Ten.
History
Blue Ten was the call sign of New Republic pilot Tetengo Noor when he flew with General Edor Crespin's Blue Squadron during the Battle of Folor, in which the A-wing interceptor pilot flew wing-to-wing with squadronmate Dorset Konnair, Blue Nine, in a ploy to impersonate the Millennium Falcon.[1]
Behind the scenes
In the novelization of Star Wars: Episode IV A New Hope, a member of Luke Skywalker's squadron, identified as Blue Squadron, uses the call sign Blue Ten.[2] However, in the film, Skywalker's squadron is Red Squadron.[3]
