Black Nine was a Type II Orbital Repair Yard in the service of the Imperial Navy, assigned to Black Sword Command and sited in the Koornacht Cluster.
History
The shipyard was overrun by the Yevetha when they rebelled against Imperial control in 4 ABY and relocated to the gas giant world of Prildaz, in the ILC-905 system. In 16 ABY, as the New Republic moved forces into Koornacht in response to the genocidal Yevethan Purge, a squadron led by Commodore Brand aboard the cruiser Indomitable discovered Black Nine and destroyed the yard and its defending thrustships in the Battle of ILC-905.
