Commander Biros Baran was a Human male Rebel Alliance Intelligence Service agent who served in the Alliance to Restore the Republic during the Galactic Civil War. In 3 ABY, he was assigned to Eyrie Base on the planet Karatha. He was despised by many officers who served with him, earning the nickname "Barren-Brain" for his allegedly poorly-planned operations.
