The Bid Party was an event hosted by Governor Parco Ein at the Verkuylian Imperial Governor's Hall on Verkuyl. The event was for the purpose of entertaining bids on the building of a new alazhi refinery. During the event, the New Republic Intelligence Service infiltrated the Governor's Hall with two agents—Major Cobb Vartos and Selby Jarrad—posing as employees for GalFactorial.[2]
