Young Ewoks collecting berries

Berry was a name applied to any sort of a small, roundish and juicy fruit. The Ewoks, a species of diminutive sentients from Endor, relied heavily on berries—which they called sleech in their language—as a means of subsistence. Their diet included grava berries,cambylictus berries, or the multicolored rainbow berries. Other sorts of berries included the aleudrupe berry of Varonat, the clait-berry of Tazan, the cloudberry of Bakura and the Juna berry of Gala.
