Base Tekar was an Imperial military installation on the planet Derilyn. Located at Derilyn Space Central, it was a major military communications post with a large antenna field. Several large antennas dotted the field, including Tower 14. Base Tekar was also the location of the Imperial Monitoring Garrison.
During the Galactic Civil War, an Alliance team, allied with the Friends of Paran, infiltrated Base Tekar as part of a larger plan to destroy the Star Destroyer Brazen.
