Bantam Doubleday Dell Audio Publishing, formerly Bantam Audio Publishing, was a subsidiary of Bantam Doubleday Dell (BDD). It was responsible for publishing audiobook cassettes of Star Wars novels published under the imprint Bantam Spectra during the 90's. With the acquisition of Random House in 1998 by the Berterlsmann conglomerate, the owner of BDD, the company became a subsidiary of Random House.[1] BDD Audio Star Wars catalogue was later exploited under the imprint Random House Audio.
