Rebel Alliance banner

Banners were flags with symbols on them which supported worlds. Those worlds which lent support to the Rebel Alliance were symbolized by banners at the award ceremony following the Battle of Yavin.

In addition, banners were also hung by members of the Galactic Empire, including during meetings between members of the Imperial Military.
