Attack on the Pirik system
The attack on the Pirik system was an Imperial attack during the Galactic Civil War.
The Rebel presence on Pirik's capital Corint City was important in times of the Empire: Shroud Team coordinated Rebel activity on the Divis Arm from there.[7] Sometime before 2 ABY, the Galactic Empire began an invasion on the Pirik system.[1] During the attack, Lieutenant Ma'w'shiye almost lost a leg in jumping through the glass window of Strak Tower's 37th floor to escape the Empire.[6] After the battle, Rebel Major Norrion Glidamir was decorated for her part,[5] and lieutenant Ma'w'shiye became a living legend for Alliance gunners.[1]
