Ather
Ather was a manufacturing world[4] located in the Ather system, a part of the Atravis sector[1] in the Western Reaches portion of[2] the Outer Rim Territories.[1] The distance between Ather and[4] the Tamarin sector's[5] Dravian Starport could be traversed in two days using a starship equipped with a Class 1 hyperdrive.[4]
During the Galactic Civil War, the Dravian Starport–based shipping company Nar Shaddaa Shipping offered free-traders a job of transporting fifty tons of datapad circuit boards to Ather for 3,500 credits.[4]
Behind the scenes
Ather was mentioned in "Tales of the Smoking Blaster," a roleplaying game adventure written by Bill Smith. The adventure was included in Star Wars Gamemaster Handbook, a 1993 sourcebook published by West End Games for Star Wars: The Roleplaying Game.[4] The 2009 reference book The Essential Atlas placed the Ather system, and therefore Ather itself, in grid square L-20.[3]
