Ardos system

The Ardos system, also known as the Varl system, was a binary star system that contained the stars Evona and Ardos, and had numerous planets including Varl. During the Hutt Cataclysms in 15,000 BBY, Evona was swallowed by a black hole—Hutt legend claimed that the god was lured into the collision—and all of the system's planets except Varl were destroyed in collisions with each other, peppering the system and Varl with asteroids. According to Hutt legend, Ardos was in agony after the loss of his mate and children, and began to self-destruct by ejecting his gaseous shell, which devastated Varl's atmosphere. Ardos ultimately condensed into a white dwarf, and the Hutts fled the system for Evocar.
