Aquatic Scout Ship

The Aquatic Scout Ship was a sleek, torpedo-shaped vessel used by the Galactic Empire.

Characteristics

It had a pair of stabilizer fins, carried no weapons, and was capable of traveling as far down as five kilometers below the surface. Each submarine was equipped with long-range sensors, manipulator arms, a tow cable, and storage areas to hold specimens and samples.

History

These vessels were used by IML to search for ore on Alluuvia and were usually crewed by scientists and technicians. A Imperial Mobile Base on the planet carried army troopers, IML personnel and seven aquatic scout ships, although it had room for fifteen.
