Behind the scenes

Andorian jelly was first mentioned in the audio drama based on the Tales of the Jedi and Tales of the Jedi: The Freedon Nadd Uprising comic book series. The comics, which made no mention of the jelly, were written by Tom Veitch while the audiodrama was written by John Whitman.
