Ambush on Sucharme
After the Clone Wars, an ambush took place on the planet Sucharme.
History
After the Declaration of a New Order, Kligson, now a captain in the Imperial Army, was sent to his home planet of Sucharme by the Galactic Empire for what was ostensibly a hero's welcome. Unbeknownst to him, however, Kligson and his stormtroopers were the vanguard of an invasion force.[1]
Upon their arrival, they received the order to eliminate the leaders of Sucharme in preparation for the nationalization of the planet's resources. Believing it to be some kind of mistake, Kligson tried to call of the order. As a result, Kligson was immediately gunned down by his own troops, former clone troopers who were suspicious of his true loyalties. Not one of the men he had trained and fought beside during the Clone Wars even hesitated.[1]
Fortunately for Kligson, the leaders of the Grohl Liberation Front also had their doubts about the true intentions of the Empire, and had sent agents to spring an ambush of their own. As blaster bolts cut through him, Kligson was rescued by the intervention of the agents.[1]
Following the ambush, what was left of Kligson was put in a bacta tank. Most of his body was replaced with cybernetics, most of them made out of B2 super battle droid parts. After he became a cyborg, Kligson started the construction of a formidable space station, derisively dubbed Kligson's Moon, at the Ostega Orbital Yards.[1]
