Alliance Base 16

Alliance Base #16, also referred to as Gaulus base, was a secret Alliance to Restore the Republic base on the planet Gaulus. During the Galactic Civil War, it was commanded by Commander Mehar Grot, who discovered that a 3PO-series protocol droid assigned to their second-in-command was, in fact, an espionage droid who had transmitted the base's location and defenses to the Galactic Empire. The base was razed by Imperial forces shortly after.
