Alandra Mipsy
Alandra Mipsy was a female reporter for the Colonial News Nets in the Tapani sector during the Galactic Civil War between the Alliance to Restore the Republic and the Galactic Empire. Mipsy covered the planet Procopia's political and celebrity scene, and as such was often invited to exclusive parties held by influential nobles, several of whom she was on friendly terms with. The reporter sympathized with the Alliance during the war, and aided Rebel cells in the Tapani sector, using her position to sneak cell members into exclusive events while they were disguised as her film crew.[1]
Behind the scenes
Alandra Mipsy first appeared as a possible ally for Rebel heroes in the campaign guide included in Lords of the Expanse, a 1997 supplement to Star Wars: The Roleplaying Game by West End Games. The supplement was written by Paul Sudlow and Chris Doyle, and did not clarify Mipsy's species.
