The Aganof language was a form of communication utilized by the Aganof species. Vibrations were created by Aganof using their claws to created vibrations that were modified by a special organ known as a sender. The sender coded the vibrations into a form of language that other Aganof could interpret. Other Aganof in the area could perceive the vibrations, and decipher them, and the range that the vibrations could be detected was modified by factors such as soil composition and other vibrations in the area. The language was icon-based, and recipient Aganof interpreted the messages as pictures in their minds rather than words.[1]
