Abonshee

Abonshee—literally, Masterhome—was a planet in the Abonshee system of Fakir sector in the Bakchou arm. It was an temperate world with hardy flora and reptilian fauna. It was home to the reptilian Anointed People, and was located in the Northern Dependencies. The name "Masterhome" was given by the Anointed People. Abonshee was discovered by the Galactic Republic some ninety years before the Battle of Yavin.

History

After being discovered by the Galactic Republic, Abonshee remained under the protection of the Galactic Senate, eventually joining the Galactic Empire upon its founding. Reekeene's Roughnecks, a diplomatic group from the Alliance to Restore the Republic, traveled to Abonshee to gain the Anointed's support.
