The 2-1B technical droid was a technical droid that specialized in repairing droids and replacing their parts.

History

In 5 ABY, a group of them replaced R2-D2 and C-3PO's exterior plating with shells resembling common Kessel droids, which allowed them to spy on the ceremony where Trioculus declared himself the heir to Emperor Palpatine's throne and ruler of the Galactic Empire.
