The Burdine Cluster was an award given by the Alliance to Restore the Republic to a member who displayed heroism in battle. Shira Brie was presented this award by Princess Leia Organa for her actions on Shalyvane where she saved her fellow members within Rogue Squadron from an attack by a horde of Em'liy. The award was traditionally accompanied by an advancement in rank.
