Bruce Mercy was a near-Human male space smuggler from a high-gravity world, who was associated with three other smugglers: Morph, Durquist, and Ptak-Sok. Mercy's ship, the Black Widow acted as their command ship. The smugglers attempted to steal the location of the Fool's Gold from Plako, but a group of freelance adventurers beat them to the legendary ship.
