The Bowane nebula was an interstellar cloud near the Isis system in the Outer Rim Territories.

Behind the scenes

Jason Fry, co-author of The Essential Atlas, indicated that the Bowane nebula was excluded from The Essential Atlas Online Companion because later sources (Galactic Gazetteer: Hoth and the Greater Javin) contradict its existence.[1]
