During the Imperial Period, the Galactic Empire bombarded the planet Oben as part of its pacification of the fringe territories of the known galaxy.
The bombardment
When Captain Thrawn failed to comprehend the Kaleesh by studying their artwork, the Imperial officer was forced to raze the planet Oben with a fleet of Star Destroyers.[1]
