A bofa treat was a food eaten as a dessert or as a snack. It was made with fruit and a crust made from cereal.

Description

Bofa treats were sweet, dried, fruit-based snack foods. They were green in appearance. In addition to being made of dried fruit, bofa treats consisted of a crust made of cereal.

History

"So, my next problem is a recipe for a dessert that I loved as a child. I have the ingredients correct, but it won't set properly. Would you show me how you do it?"

After the Battle of Yavin, a gang called the Bofa Treat Gang named themselves after this dessert. They were a rival to the Meatlump Gang, a terrorist group which named itself after the meatlump.

Meanwhile, the trader Raine Taske met another trader on Tansarii Point Station who taught him how to make delicious bofa treats.

Behind the scenes

Bofa treats appeared in the MMORPG Star Wars Galaxies prior to its closure on December 15, 2011. In the game, they appeared green and leafy. However, the same graphical model for bofa treats was used for other items in the game such as the banthaweed.

No source has specified that bofa treats came from the Bofa system or Bofa II. Also, while bofa treats were made out of some sort of fruit, no source has made a connection between the treats and the bofa fruit.
