Beacon transmitter

A beacon transmitter was used to transmit a positive starship identification. In order to set up the device, the user would need to force through numerous overrides down to a subatomic level, then rebuild it with the false data. One of these devices was mounted in a decoy of the personal working vessel of the bounty hunter Boba Fett, the Slave I.
