The Battle of Shaylin 18 was a crucial battle between the Alliance to Restore the Republic and the Galactic Empire that took place at Shaylin 18 after the Battle of Yavin.[1] The victorious rebel forces[2] were commanded by Captain Vanden Willard. Due to his performance, he would later be assigned the command of Delta Base and of Suolriep sector.[1]
