The Battle of Mengjini was one of the crises that faced the New Republic during the Caamas Document Crisis.

In it, 'dissident elements' under the Vengeance organization attacked the New Republic HoloNet node at Mengjini. A task force under General Garm Bel Iblis, just having defeated the Blockade of Sif'kric, was sent to repel the attack on the node, along with additional New Republic forces in the area.
