A ballistic ejection seat was a type of ejector seat manufactured by Koensayr Manufacturing. Armored and crash-worthy, the ballistic ejection seat was fitted in BTL Y-wing starfighters. In the two-seat BTL-S3 Y-wing starfighter, either the pilot or gunner could trigger the seats, launching both at the same time.[1]
