Artificial gravity generator/Legends

Artificial gravity generators, gravidic generators[1] or gravity field generators[2] were used to create a stable field of gravity outside of a planet's natural gravity well, thus aiding life in space. They were also used to compress objects—for storage purposes with gaseous commodities, and sometimes to create synthetic gems.
Silver Station used an array of generators taken from an Imperial transport to produce artificial gravity, including 90-degree gravity shifts in certain sections of the station.[1]
