An armored battlegroup was a formation of the Imperial Army.
Organization
An armored battle group was comprised of two armor regiments, two vanguard armor regiments, and battlegroup headquarters. It included 16,346 personnel, 1,132 repulsorcraft, and 318 heavy tanks. Armored battlegroups were deployed when the enemy had considerable strength.[1]
Armored battlegroups could be augmented by the addition of four more armor regiments.[2]
