Yanne was Kueller's assistant after Femon who was chosen because he expressed his opinion even if it was not in sync with Kueller's.^[1] After Kueller's death in 17 ABY, Yanne assumed control of Almania and opened talks with the New Republic. However, he was soon overthrown by Gant,^[2] an assistant Kueller had trained to replace Yanne.^[1]

Behind the scenes

The Essential Chronology calls him "Yane," and The Complete Star Wars Encyclopedia refers to him as "Yanee."
