WORM chip
The WORM chip,[1] full name Write-Once-Read-More chip, was a security component that ensured content recorded on it could not be changed.[2] The WORM chip was a component in the Treaty Recording System employed by the Alliance Diplomatic Corps. When used alongside RTZ security filters, it ensured that data recorded by the system could not be modified.[1] WORM chips were also used in Imperial inspection reports once a container had been given an Imperial customs seal.[2]
