Volmey Strip
The Volmey Strip was located in the Rym Mountains of the planet Socorro. Accessible only be air, the strip was two hundred kilometers towards the interior of the mountains. A landmark, it was used as a meeting place for smugglers. The approach was extremely dangerous, requiring pilots to fly through subterranean caverns, through an active volcanic grotto then into a rift of plateaus at the base of the canyon.[1]
