Vhin was an island continent on the planet Illarreen, located in the northern hemisphere. It was once rich in resources, but a sudden and intense climate change—hypothesised to be due to a solar flare—rendered it uninhabitable.

The Poss'Nomin evolved on the eastern shores of the island, but were forced to sail overseas to discover fertile lands.
