A vending machine dispensed beverages. During Jabba the Hutt's planned execution of Luke Skywalker and Han Solo in 4 ABY, C-3PO described R2-D2 as looking like a vending machine while serving drinks aboard the Hutt's sail barge.

In Star Wars: The Old Republic, an item allows the player to summon a vending machine for a short while. It regenerates their health and energy pool.
