The Valera uprising took place on the planet of Valera. The world was the site of an uprising against the Galactic Empire. For his first assignment aboard the Stalker, Captain Akal Zed was tasked to suppress the rebellion. Zed managed to wipe out the rebels despite a flawed battle plan. The Empire lost several support ships in the battle, and Captain Zed was considered responsible for these casualties. He was later transferred with his ship in the Elrood Sector Fleet as punishment.^[1]
