Uris assembled a team of scientists and bankrolled a project to create nanogene droids on the planet Voorsbain. Uris' delusions of grandeur led him to believe that the technology would allow him to create an army and rule an empire; during the Galactic Civil War, he was prepare to unleash the nanogene droids on Voorsbain's population.
