Unidentified Serp pact

Aggression was then sublimated into into [sic] the form of harmless, annual jousting contests."

After centuries of devastating, high-tech wars, the Serps of the planet Serphidi signed a pact whereby they agreed to ban high technology and live under the unified rule of a single King. Soon thereafter, the Serps began to hold annual combat tournaments known as Doom-Jousts as an outlet for the aggressions that had previously been used for battling one another.
