Unidentified Imperial defector

A man belonging to the personal staff of Imperial Consul-General Dandamont Pring on the planet Bothawui during the Galactic Civil War defected from the Empire to join the Rebel Alliance. The defector made his move during one of Pring's famous soirees, meeting with a group of undercover Alliance Intelligence operatives to demonstrate his worth to the Rebellion—datafiles of Imperial fleet movements and supply centers in a contested sector. However, the defector refused to leave unless the Rebel agents also spirited away his true love—Praleena Pring, the consul-general's daughter.

Ultimately, the defector and Praleena escaped from the Imperial forces on Bothawui following mass confusion among the party guests. Dandamont covered up his embarrassment by dismissing the incident as young love, claiming that his daughter would return once she thought things through.
