A Twi'lek story-chain or memory-cord was a device used by the Twi'lek species to record stories. Each link told a chapter of the story. In 22 ABY, Jedi historian Tionne Solusar brought one of these back from her mission to Borgo Prime. She allowed Jedi trainee Tahiri Veila to take it from the Lore Seeker and bring it to Jedi Master Luke Skywalker.

Alema Rar later made one to record her abandonment on Tenupe.
