Alpha Group (Galactic Empire)

Alpha Group was the designation provided to a detachment of the Imperial garrison base on the planet Vryssa. It was composed of All Terrain Scout Transports, All Terrain Armored Transports, speeder bikes and squads of stormtroopers. Much of the detachment was destroyed by the bounty hunter Boba Fett when he launched his attack on the Vryssa garrison. Alpha Group was dispatched into the forests of Vryssa by Imperial general Gaege Xarran in an attempt to capture or kill Fett, but failed to do so.
